ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,289,773 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 26 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,289,773 Covid-19 cases, this includes 312,654 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,294,183 people (144,247deaths)
- Philippines: 3,459,646 people (53,598 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,840,225 people (31,918 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,398,944 people (22,079 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,171,527 people (37,010 deaths)
- Myanmar: 534,383 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 322,770 people (850 deaths)
- Laos: 130,853 people (529 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,094 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,148 people (98 deaths)
